Get ready with me: “No makeup, makeup look”

Today I showed you a quick (1 1/2 songs to be exact) no makeup, makeup look that I usually do if I have little to no time, but want to walk out of the door feeling confident. I created a video with product links so you are able to go back and re-watch and practice whenever you want.

I hope you have fun recreating this look!

Nordstrom Beauty Sale- my everyday products.

While restocking my must have’s for my makeup kit, I stumbled upon a Nordstrom beauty sale on my FAVORITE and everyday makeup (that also neverrr go on sale).

I’m not joking guys, I really do use these products on the daily basis, and on most of my clients! Not sure how long they still stay on sale or in stock.. so RUN!!!!!

I posted on Instagram story how-to video’s of how I use my most coveted everyday products. Everything but two products were found in the sale! I got requests to add the video’s to my blog, so they are a little choppy but I hope it’ll be helpful for you to go back and watch if you do get the products but forget how to apply!

(Best part, Nordstrom has free shipping, and returns…even on used product! Gives you a peace of mind incase you don’t love certain products you try!)

In order of what steps and products I use on my video, I have linked the product that are on sale! (Click on product name for link)

I hope you love these product’s just as much as I do!

Here Comes The Bride

Hi friends!

Summer is here and that means (for us makeup artists) brides…brides… and more BRIDES –  there’s nothing better than that!  I’m always honored to be a part of someone’s special day!

Last week, I put together a fun and quick video (posted below) to show how I create a classic and romantic bridal look. I’ve received many questions about the products used…so, I decided it would be helpful to list everything here rather than on an Instagram post. Most products listed have a link to easily find them on Amazon (I love Amazon Prime!)

  1. Urban Decay Naked Palette I used “Naked” all over crease, “Toasted” all over the lid, and “Sin” right in the center of the lid to create more dimension. I finished off with ‘Buck” on outer crease. If you are going for a more natural look, use Naked and Toasted only.
  2. MAC “Carbon” eyeliner. This gives a softer, yet still defined lash line.
  3. Ardell “Demi Wispies” Lash Strips  These are my all time FAVORITE. They appear natural but have volume to give your lashes that extra pop! I highly recommend these for any photo session!
  4. L’Oreal “Voluminous Carbon Black” Mascara  My hands-down favorite!

  1. Anastasia Beverly Hills “Brow Wiz”   Thin enough to create natural hair strokes.
  2. Anastasia Beverly Hills “Clear Brow Gel”  Holds eyebrows in place like super glue!  A definite “must have”.

  1. Lancome “Teint Idole Ultra 24” Foundation This is my only go to for foundation. It’s full coverage and still breathable!
  2. Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer  I love this because it’s quick dying so you don’t have to worry about it being too tacky and thick.
  3. MAC “Dainty” Blush – The perfect soft warmth to bring color to your face!
  4. MAC “Soft and Gentle Highlight” – My favorite highlight for a natural glow.
  5. Urban Decay “All Nighter” Setting Spray – Nothing can compare to this one – it’s like hair spray for your face!

  1. MAC “Whirl” Lipliner
  2. L’Oreal “Jennifer Nude” Lipstick  This is an amazing pink for all skin tones, even very fair tones that often pull warmth.

I hope you are able use something from this look! It’s versatile and can be used on anyone – even if you’re not a bride! After all, bridal makeup should only be a polished version of yourself!  🙂
